Summer Research Program

CSTEP has designed an exciting summer program for talented students who are looking ahead to a successful career in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), and Allied-health professions.

Purpose

The program is designed to strengthen science and research skills. It provides an intensive research experience to enhance your competiveness when pursuing the licensed allied health professions and graduate programs.

Program Structure

The CSTEP Summer Research Program is an 8 week vigorous program conducted from the end of May to mid-July. Students are matched with faculty to conduct research. In addition to research experience, you will participate in a research methods course, community service, seminars, and fieldtrips. As a capstone, at the end of the program, you will present your research to your peers, faculty and the University community during our Annual Research Symposium.
