Welcome to the CPMC Summer Bridge Program

News and Announcements

Make sure to attend all CPMC/EOP sponsored activities.

What is it?

The Cora P. Maloney College (CPMC) Summer Program is a mandatory four-week residential program designed to help students preparing for the freshman year of study at UB understand and adjust to the university's environment and culture.

Attendance is mandatory for all students accepted into the Educational Opportunity Program. It is a highly structured and intensive program centered around academic course offerings that will strengthen your reading, writing, mathematics, and communication skills. In addition to the academic courses you are required to attend, we also have arranged a full schedule of recreational and social activities.

During the program you will become familiar with the campus, the community and a wide range of academic and non-academic resources. You will also be introduced to the performance expectations, workload and behavioral strategies that are important aspects of college life and academic success.
